OOP Is Much Better in Theory Than in Practice?

Lambda the Ultimate discusses the merit of an article as well as its content. Again against the object.

I think OOP is better in practice than in theory. But then I value practice more than theory.

I always loved Chernicoff's Law:

Although there is no difference between theory and practice in theory, there is a great deal of difference between theory and practice in practice.
